The School Business Community Partnership Programme

“Partnership Brokers will create and improve partnerships between community, business and industry, and schools to extend learning beyond the classroom, increase student engagement, life attainment and improve educational outcomes.” - DEEWR (2009)

Partnership brokers will facilitate sustainable and strategic partnerships between four key stakeholders: education institutions, community organisations, parents, and business and industry. The School Business Community Partnership Brokers aim is to create a whole community approach that supports young people to remain engaged, or reengage, in education or training.
